Modifying Your Practice
We encourage all students to approach their practice in a way that feels safe, accessible, and beneficial for their unique needs. Here are some guidelines for modifying your practice:
Support and Props: Feel free to use props like blocks, straps, or bolsters to support your practice. Our instructors are available to offer guidance if needed.
Injuries and Health Conditions: If you’re recovering from an injury or managing a health condition, let your instructor know before class starts. They can suggest modifications to help you stay safe and comfortable.
Skill Levels: Students of all levels are welcome! Modify poses to suit your skill level and work at your own pace.
Minimizing Disruption: If you plan to heavily modify your practice, we kindly ask that you position your mat near the rear of the room. This helps maintain focus for other students.
Your practice is your own, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask an instructor!
